A NEW REVOLUTION!!

I can't believe that I haven't found this early enough! Do you understand me? How is this possible??

U&A nail polish

You would wonder why I am so hyped up about this nail polish since it really isn't much of a renowned brand, yet when it comes to glitter nail polish there are two things that frustrate me a lot.

1. You just can't seem to ever get a perfectly smooth finish surface, like no matter how fine the glitters are, you just seem to still be able to feel the roughness from the pigments.

2. It takes literally FOREVER to take off! Even though I have already used the soak and rub technique, much force is needed to get rid of the very last glitter left on your nail.

and... this polish SURPRISED me!

Not only does this polish give out the most astonishing shine and shimmer that a lot of glitter nail polish couldn't perform, it also satisfy both of my concerns towards glitter polish. I truly recommend this brand though I only know of one place that sells this in Hong Kong. So if I were you, I would pay great attention to this brand if you are a huge ass fan of glitter polishes yet faces the same problems I do.

Until next time,

Shop happily and wisely!!!

deborah lippmann Around The Universe

These are the three new deborah lippmann nail polish I recently bought (mentioned in my other blog) and I have only tried out the Around The Universe.

呢三支係我近期賣落嘅 deborah lippmann 指甲油(另一個 blog 有提及過)。我暫時只試過 Around The Universe。

One thing I love about this nail polish is that it truly does remind me of the universe. The nail polish basically consists of a translucent blue nail lacquer with small fine royal blue glitter and chunky big teal and true green glitters. It creates a brilliant effect because the nail polish is quite sheer, the more layer you put, the more you cover the first layer of glitter with the nail polish creating the effect of having stars from a far reach and glitter from the top would look really like close stars you can see clearly and brightly. I love the depth it creates. The only problem is that it does take a while to dry.

Twice Lollipop

Not long ago I found this really interesting product in 7-11 I do believe and for lollipop lovers, this is a product you would not want to miss. It is the Twice lollipop. Just like any other lollipop, it is hard candy on a stick, but it is not just ONE blob of candy but TWO!

Quite interesting, is it not? Though you don't actually get twice the product, you do get extra compared to the original version of it. Another good thing about it is that you get to choose which one to have more or less of. But then at the same time the taste of it won't mix really well so if you are the type who would like your candy to taste the same after time then you would want to stay away from this.

For people who wish to try something new and exotic, you HAVE to try this!!!

Face wipes

I forgot when I have started to use face wipes to remove makeup, but one thing I know for sure is that it really saves a lot of time.

I personally love to use water proof makeup, and no matter how much other people say that oil based makeup remover is good and they take out all the makeup you have on your face, to me it never seems to be able to take my mascara off. So I would have to use the eye makeup remover then use the oil based makeup remover. With those makeup remover, they would also tell you that you don't have to wash your face again after using it, but to me it seems like there is still always something on my skin that isn't cleaned off properly and I ending up washing my face once more. But by having the makeup remover wipes, I won't have to wash my face twice. I would still recommend you to wash your face after that, the wipes can only take your makeup off, but a full face cleansing is always beneficial to your skin.

I have only started for quite a while honestly so I haven't tried a whole lot of different types of makeup removing wipes. But personally I really like Comodynes Convenient Cosmetics' makeup remover wipes and the biggest reason is because it has a large range of choices for different skin types, which is unlike other brands. I am not sure where you can get it outside Hong Kong, but if you are in America, the e.l.f. face wipes are good too.

I have tried two different wipes for different skin types and it really does have a huge difference. First they smell different, I know this might now be as significant to a lot of you, but I do believe in aroma therapy and I tend to use products that has a pleasing scent. And secondly, I do believe the amount of alcohol in it is different, the one for normal skin has more compared to the combination skin. The formula is made for a particular skin type so it would be beneficial if you get the one that fits your own skin type.

Revlon Top Speed Nail polish

Not a long while ago I came across the Revlon Top Speed Nail Polish that was sold in Watsons. It is more expensive than a regular Revlon nail polish and I didn't really want to pick one up, but then I saw that they had an amazing grey color so I decided to give it a try. Long story short, it was a whole new experience.

I have always been a Revlon nail polish lover because they have nice nail polish with good consistency but they don't really have such a variety of colors to choose from, but then the Top Speed line has a huge variety of colors in it. Also a lot of them are cream based, one thing that I love about these nail polishes is that because they are cream based and very opaque by having it in a quick dry formula, it really helps dry the coats of nail polish that you put on. It really helps decrease the time on both the colour pigmentation as well as the time taken for it to dry. If you are up to pay just a little bit more than drug store nail polish, then I have to say that the Revlon Top Speed Nail Polish is worthy of the price and you would be really satisfied with the outcome of it.

nanoblock

I know that this isn't something I would usually review on but I think I have grown into another addiction and that is building things.
This is actually something I wished to buy for a very long time but never actually had the chance to buy it cos I have always thought that it was way too over priced, but on the trip to Macau I sort of went on a shopping mode and bought it for the sake of buying it. And I have to say the purchase was worth it.
Nanoblock is just miniature sized lego which you can use to build animals mostly I do believe. And you can keep it as a decoration at home. It took me a while to choose and at the end I chose to buy the clown fish.

Well you can see above the package comes with mini lego pieces and instructions, I have to say that at first the instructions would look quite intimidating but then as time goes by you would find it really easy to understand.

Aren't they just so cute??

Lip Balm Collection and Review

This is just going to be a show of my lip product collection [the ones that I can find in my room, I know that there are quite a few missing] and a short review on the items. I am going to start with lip balms.

1. The apple: it is a Japanese brand [not sure which one it is], it smells like apple real bad and it is decent as a lip balm
2. Paul Frank x Lip Smackers Strawberry: it is as big as a glue stick, pricey but IT IS Paul Frank and Lip Smackers so worth it.
3. Body Shop x MTV Guavan Lip Butter: limited edition for this thingy.. I don't even know what that was but I really love the scent of this, never used it though cos I am not a big fan of lip butters
4. MAC Lip Conditioner: talked about it before and one word - AMAZING
5. Jill Stuart Lip Balm [normal scent]: the product is good but honestly I bought this just cos of the package
6. Figs & Rouge Balm Rambling Rose: this one I got from Sasa and it is pretty moisturizing and one thing about this is it is 100% organic
7. Murad Green Tea & Energizing Pomergrante Lip Protector: got them on the plane, good for the plane. I would actually buy them if I ever finish these sample sizes [kind of impossible]
8. Happy Tree Friends Happy Lips Strawberry Scream: well long story short, bought it cos it is a Happy Tree Friends side product, it smells good but not very good
9. Body Shop Cranberry ones: they are good but not gonna talk much about it cos it is winter limited editions
10. Mac Pink Tinted Lip conditioner: really nice tinted lip balm, it gives color but it won't actually tint your lips like some other ones
11. Baby Pink and Baby Pink Glossy Lips: these are really popular ones in Japan and they are really nice, and the good thing about the Glossy Lips one is that you don't even need to put an extra layer of gloss to make your lips glossy
12. Oslee Lip Balm: I don't know how I am going to put this but I have a love and hate relationship with this one,
13. Mentholatum Water Colour in Bubbly Wine: brings a really nice tint to your lips and it won't strip the moisture off from it as well
14. Color Cosmo Honey Lip Balm
15. Origins Lip Remedy: talked about this one before as well, really like this product and it is a must have during Winter
16. HISA Lip balm in Peach and Honey: I bought this just because it looked really beautiful, not only does it have a rhinestone on the top of the packaging, the blam itself has a shape of a gem when you first uses it. Product wise... it is just fine
17. labello Velvet Rose: it is really nice one, and gives a really vague pink tint to your lips, very famous brand I have to say

Hope the review helped some of you getting a new lip balm and remember to stay tune for a lip gloss collection and review!

My favourite face mask for the summer

Personally, my skin breaks out easier during summer and this happens to most of the people I assume due to the hot weather and the increase of oil secretion. Therefore, I would use oil controlling face masks during summer.

The face mask above is the best oil controlling mask I have ever used. I actually got attracted by this because this is limited addition (DUH!~ =]) along with other ones that I picked up from mannings. I started using the other ones until my monthly came and hormones were doing their 'magic', I tried to use one of these to control my skin from breaking out. The other day when I woke up, my skin was nice and smooth with no break out and it felt so good and oil free I was amazed. I am not sure how this works but this is really good.

I know there isn't much point to recommend this because it is limited and I believe most of them are gone, but I have to say if you are lucky enough to see one, GET IT! Cos it is really good. Before I can find any replacement, this one will have to be the best oil controlling mask I have ever used.

Ps. This is very affordable as well, I believe you can get this ranging from $6-$10 per piece and there are 5 pieces in one box.

LGB Marshmallow Review

I can't believe this :P I am actually reviewing marshmallows, but they are honestly awesome.

$24/pack

The pink one is strawberry flavoured and the yellow one is lemon flavoured. I don't know how to perfectly explain this but I have to say that this is very different from normal marshmallows that you can find in general, so if you are curious, you should go to IFC and crab a pack to try!!

butter London

butter London is quite a high end nail polish brand, not a lot of salons carry it and it is mainly in the States. I didn't really want to do a review on this product due to it scarcity but since a shop actually carry it in Hong Kong, I shall give a little opinion on it.

$185 (From the Hong Kong retail store)

Well first thing, it is very pricey for a nail polish in general, it is pricier than the Chanel one. I guess it is worth it because the bottle is just so irresistible. I got the color Cheeky Chops, and as you can see, it is a very nice yellow, not sheer like other yellow nail polish but not pastel, so a very nice balance of yellow and white. Also the colours looks a bit whiter in bottles and more like the actual yellow on your finger. This is one thing I like about their nail polish, it promises you the color you want and you don't have to put a base color under it or what so ever. The only thing about the brand is that they have a very limited color choice and I personally think that it is the only negative thing about it.

Moving on to the polish itself. I have to say that if you are used to the OPI brushes, it would take you a while to get back use to the normal rounded brushes instead of the wide, flat ones. But it is good to use after you get back used to it. The polish itself is really opaque, even when I was using this white based yellow polish, I only needed two layers to make it perfect, a very nice quality I have to say. Also it dries pretty quickly, a bit faster than OPI colors in general so that is one good thing about it. One problem about this nail polish other than the brush is the holder part, you can either choose to use the square part or the cylinder part, but even with both, it just doesn't feel right, it might be because I have gotten so used to the OPI ones that I find the square shape too odd and the cylinder part too small.

So yeah, in general I would recommend this nail polish to people who can afford it or to people who are finding particular colors that are hard to find outside which has a good color pigmentation as well as application. But if you just simply want something better than drugstore polishes and you don't really have a lot to spend, I would say go for OPI and not the butter London ones.

Best Nail Polish Remover Ever!!

$29

When I was at Sasa last time, after paying for the stuff that I bought I came across this product and its very cute packaging caught my eye and I bought it. I actually wasn't giving much of hope in this product itself when it claims that by using this product you can take your nail polish off in 3 seconds. This fascinated me.

First thing, it actually makes polish removing so much less pain in the ass, call you have to do is to put your finger in, wait for a bit, twirl your finger while rubbing it against the sponge, pull it out and your finger will be as clean as new. Secondly, I thought that it would leave an awful thinner scent to your finger, but once the alcohol was gone, your finger s would smell like rose. Thirdly, by having the extra almond extract oil, it keeps your fingers smooth and moisturized after using the product instead of drying them out like other nail polish removers do.

So for anyone who doesn't like to waste too much time on taking nail polish off, you HAVE HAVE HAVE to go and get this!! If you are in Hong Kong, you can get it in Sasa, if you are from elsewhere, you won't be able to get it through the Sasa website unfortunately.

Essie Matte about you

A few of you might know that I have just recently done a reorganization of my nail polish collection, so at the end of this post, I would be posting on a photo of my nail polish collection.

Around $90

The Essie Matte About You, the name speaks for itself, and yes it is a matte top coat. I personally needed this top coat desperately because first I own a bottle of OPI suede nail polish and second, for most of the people how own a bottle of shatter would know that shatter dries with a matte finish as well. And for me to successfully preserve the nails at that stage, a matte top coat is unquestionably needed.

Well since I have never tried any other matte top coat so I cannot to a comparison, therefore I would just be offering a review on how well I think it was.

I have to say that at the very beginning I really liked it. The nails really came out matte and at the same time they were really smooth, the top coat dried really quickly as well, I actually had a moment wondering if the top coat and matte nail polishes were one the reasons for shatter nail polish to happen. Anyway, one concern or question that I always had before I debated about buying the matte nail polish was that if it was going to create friction when one was rubbed against the other, like a chalk rubbing against a chalk board. I really don't like that feeling and it gives me shivers. But surprisingly the matte coat doesn't really create too much friction and that was one thing I loved, AT FIRST. But then after two days wearing the nail polish, I have realized the matte top coat was starting to get a glossy finish due to all the grease your nails are exposed to, like lotion, cream and all that. It wasn't as glossy as normal nail polish but it was still glossy enough to not tell from afar that it is matte, and I believe that the smoothness was part of the reason. It is not like I don't like the product, it is just that I'd expect it to not to gloss up after, or was I expecting too much? But then I have to say that I don't regret buying it because I would only be top coating my shatter and my suede or matte nail polish and nothing else and as long as it doesn't give me a permanent gloss to it, I am happy =]

Here is a photo of my collection, I know it seems small but it actually have a lot in it. As you can see that Butter London is being very lonely in the middle, CAN'T WAIT TO GET MORE!! :)

My all time favourtie essie nail polish

I have to say that if essie claims that they are the second best company that creates pink or nude colours, I doubt that anyone would say that they are better. My favourite colour is the Ballet Slippers 162, it is the palest shade of pink that you can ever find and it is very opaque, you only need 2 layers to get a perfect nail. Another thing that I like about essie nail polish is that other than giving you an amazing coverage and finish, the pale polishes manages to have a sort of sheer finish to it, very hard to explain. Like it is not a blunt and strong pastel colour but in fact the shade is pastel, you get what I mean?? But yeah I really like essie nail polish and I am ordering more from the internet so fingers-crossed.

Btw if you guys like pale pinks, Ballet Slippers is definitely the best colour for you, I love outstanding colours and Ballet Slippers is the only pale colour that I manage to actually finish and needing to buy another one. It is also one of the first salon type nail polishes I own, so if you think that OPI is a bit too expensive for you or you just want to start with something of a better quality, then I really do recommend essie nail polishes. They are coming out with really nice sharp colours and pastel colours for this summer collection so do go check them out online on their website or if you are in Hong Kong and you are finding problems with getting essie nail polish, you can either go to Mong Kok or Causeway Bay for beauty product retailers or go onto yahoo.com.hk for the auction site. On the auction site, there are chances that they might be fake so do make sure you check out the comments and the rating of the seller. As for people who are in the States, you can just buy through their website www.essie.com =]

LUSH Shower Jelly Review

OMG ! I can't explain how happy I am about the LUSH Shower Jelly. I have to say that this is the most amazing shower item I have ever tried. Well basically it is like a piece of jelly which is mostly made out of seaweed gel and it comes in 3 different scent and I got the Sweetie Pie just cos it looked the best. At first I thought that it was only for your skin and it took me quite a bit of courage to buy it because I already have a lot of soap that I have been buying and stocking up at home. But then knowing that I can also use it for the hair, my eyes glowed =]

It is the one on the left, and the soap on the right is the Porridge Soap, haven't tried it out yet but I think I will very soon.

Look at it! Isn't it beautiful?

I have to say that this product surprised me SO SO SO much. I actually gave it a try last night on both my hair and skin; after using it on my skin, the scent didn't stay on your skin but it keeps it very moisturized. For the hair part, after you get out of the shower, your scalp would have a tingly feeling to it and it was very refreshed. And honestly my hair do get greasy after a day in Hong Kong cos it is very humid in the Spring and Summer but after using the Shower Jelly it was not greasy at all, I think that it was because it strips your hair really dry so I would recommend people to use this only during hot weather or if you know you get greasy hair easily. Another thing is that if you smell the Sweetie Pie straight out of the container, it has a very strong artificial blueberry scent to it, but because of it being in a jelly form, you are recommended to put it in a little pull pockets and hang them up to dry when you aren't using it. So this morning when I walked into my bathroom I was like Oh My God... My bathroom smells like blueberry, but it was not artificial AT ALL, the scent was washed out by the air and the space of the bathroom and it was so so sweet. At the same time adding to my Honey I Washed The Kids soap that I also have hanging in my soap saver, my bathroom now smells a bit like blueberry pound cake if that is even possible.

So yeah, I love love love this product, and I would be getting it again maybe another scent of it for the summer cos it is super refreshing. But do beware if you have dry skin because this wouldn't' be a very good product or you would need a lot of moisturizing cream afterward.

Ps. I have only used it once and I really wanted to blog my feeling after the first time I have used it, so in later posts I might change the way on how I view this product, but as for now IT IS AMAZING!!

OH! And one more thing, they are more affordable than the soap you can get because there is a minimum limit to the soap you are buying from LUSH and the add up would usually be more expensive than the Shower Jelly which I do believe was around $60-$70 Hong Kong, maybe $10 +/-

So yeah, hope you liked the review and give this product a try!

OPI Suede and Shatter

This is the suede colour that I own, and I do believe that this is the OPI Ink suede. If you guys have heard of the Matte OPI nail polish, it is like matte but with glitter in it, not bad but it might wear off so you would need to get a matte top coat to keep it matte. For me instead of using a matte top coat, I wanted to try it with the OPI shatter.

It looked amazing with the matte finish but since I don't have a matte top coat yet, I had to top it with a quick dry top coat :(

Nail Polish of the Week

With this nail, I used OPI's NL L03 Kyoto Pearl as a base, around two coats of it.
And then I added one thin layer of OPI Katy Perry Collection: NL K07 Teenage Dream

One thing I love about this nail do other than the fact that it is in my favourite color pink, but I really like how the shimmer of Kyoto Pearl came out more subtle due to the glitter and the pink shade of the Teenage Dream. I personally am so not a fan of shimmer nail polish but some of them I just love the glow and the colour of it, with this one, the pearl essence of Kyoto Pearl was peeking out through the glitters of Teenage Dream yet the shimmer wasn't over flowing. Amazing!

An alternative for OPI Katy Perry Collection: Teenage dream

OPI: $132
REVLON: Around $35-$45

For people who are financially bounded and love the OPI Katy Perry Collection: Teenage Dream, a very close alternative is the REVLON: 65 Blizzard Berry.

The only difference is that for the REVLON one, only the nail polish itself is slightly pink shaded and the OPI one has fine pink glitters as well. In the swatch it seems like there is a lot of difference, but you can achieve the same effect if you have a translucent layer of pink underneath the REVLON one, the glitter particles are pretty much similar. More layers of the nail polish would do too.

May Nail Polish Review #1

Around $64-$132

New purchase!! Names, swatches and reviews below! :)
From left to right:
Katy Perry Collection: Teenage Dream NL K07
Texas Collection: I Vant To Be A-lone Star NL T16
Burlesque Collection: Bring On The Bling HL B03

Texas Collection: I Vant To Be A-lone Star NL T16
This one is from the new collection Texas for the Spring/ Summer 2011. It is like a baby blue base with very fine silver powder which gives it a grey shimmer to it. Very opaque, good coverage with 2 layers and best with 3 I recon.

Katy Perry Collection: Teenage Dream NL K07
I personally wanted this one for quite a while, and yes of course cos it is pink as well as it is glittery. But I actually wanted it cos I saw the swatches and they were AMAZING, so sad that they were sold out then. I am having 2 layers there on my finger and though it doesn't show as well on the photo, it is very nice in real life even on nails compared to the bottle.

Burlesque Collection: Bring On The Bling HL B03
This is out for a while as well, I have two other ones and I love them. So since I had the chance, I had to get this one <3 I mean honestly if you are someone who loves glitter, the Burlesque Collection would be perfect for you. I friggin have only one layer on my finger there! You see what I mean?

OMG These are MUST HAVES!!

This time, when I say must have. I mean you actually really need to get them cos COME ON!!! It is Chanel Nail Polish!
They are the new 2011 colour.

Just look at them! It is just 3 colours by the way.
Beige color one: Beige Petale
Pink shimmer one: Morning Rose
Cream yellow one: Mimosa

I have seen swatches of all of them and I have to say that they are my favourite colours of all timeI mean seriously, that is first the best beige you can ever find, a very nude colour yet not too pale and white, the pink is a very pretty rose pink with a small hint of glitter in it which makes it shimmer a bit more in the sun, and last but not least the yellow - OMG this yellow is so opaque to an extent that it is not funny at all! I am totally in love with it because it is everything I personally like, even the brand :D

Nails of the week - PASTEL!

Even though pastel is not so much in trend this year, I always feel like around Easter time, you would need a bit of fun and candy colours in life, therefore I have painted my nails in different pastel colours [Yes I am very indecisive and yes that is why I used all these colours, I would honestly need like 9 fingers to use all the pastel colours that I own].

One most important thing that a good pastel nail polish is to have an opaque formula. These nail polishes are quite opaque and I am very happy with its consistency, information of the nail polishes would be stated below.

From right to left:
1. TONY MOLY ND03 - this is a korean brand and I have only seen it in the Causeway Bay mannings in Heng Lung, they are $30 each. They have a very limited choice of colours but all I managed to get 4 out of the 12 colours?

2. OPI Shrek Forever After NL B90 What's with the Cattitude? - you can get this in a few different mannings in Hong Kong, or a quite a few cosmetics retailer.

3. OPI Shrek Forever After NL B94 Fiercely Fiona - same with the No. 2, I actually got this as a set, so that is why mine are tiny, they are all around 3.5 mL

4. OPI Shrek Forever After NL B91 Rumple's Wiggin' - if you are wondering, you can get the 15mL regular sized ones at mannings for $132 and for retailers in Causeway Bay or Mong Kok would be around $65-$80

5. GOSH 597 Miss Minty - I have talked about this one in a previous post. Link ->> http://bunnie-lover.blogspot.com/2011/04/new-nail-polish.html

Hope you guys like this and Happy Easter!

Friday, 22 April 2011

This is a MUST HAVE!

$1.50 per piece

I don't know how many of you guys have heard of this but by far this is the cheapest and the best way to keep your hair up when you want it up - VELCRO!!!!
Let's just say that this does its job really well, it can keep your fringe up when you wash your face or put your makeup but at the same time it won't give you creases that hair clips would give you. Long story short, if you are in Hong Kong, just go to Sasa and get it! I use it on a daily bases and just for the sake of keeping my hair out of my face. I do believe that Sasa sells a similar product that shapes like a bow, that one is just a few bucks more but a lot cuter, so if you have visitors around or you just simply want to look more adorable when you are at home, that one works just as well as this.

BUT bear in mind that you wouldn't want to wear that out, it is not a hair accessory. I wonder if it is possible for me to bling it up, I'll let you guys know if it works : )

New nail polish : )

Guilty Pleasure.... sigh :)
Around $132

This is the OPI NL Z16 SKI TEAL WE DROP

As usual, nail colours tend to look slightly different in bottle and on nails, this one has more of a Prussian blue to it after applied. Got this just cos they sell it in mannings and the only good colour there that I didn't have. A quick review on OPI nail polish, one thing I love about OPI is that first their consistency is good, they dry up pretty quickly so you won't have to wait forever to let it dry. Love the size of the brush and how it is flat unlike a lot of other drug store brands. The only thing is that it is hard to get the colour I want in Hong Kong and shopping online is quite risky sometimes. Some of mine are drying up and am planning to get their nail polish thinner. If anyone of you own the OPI shatter, the thinner is a must buy if you would like to use most of the product in the bottle.

Around $78

If you guys don't know what brand this is and you are in Hong Kong, it is a cosmetics brand that Watsons carry at a few stores, and I do believe that the largest GOSH counter is in the huge Watsons in Causeway Bay. This colour is the 597 MISS MINTY, a very nice colour if you want something to brighten your Spring and Summer days. One thing I love about GOSH is that their colours are really opaque, for example, it only took me 2 layers to get a perfect nail shown in the photo above. The fall back to this brand is that first they don't really have a large variety of color choice [but I have to say, they carry a lot of colors that other brands don't have], and secondly, the brush is very tiny so it takes a few more strokes before your whole nail is covered. I suppose the only good thing to a small brush is that you can easily fill in small gaps and do nail art with it, but the brush isn't THAT fine.

Just cos some people are wondering, this is my nail polish collection, VERY messy I know.

Lash Glue

Around $70

Personally I think that most of the lash glues are more or less the same, at the end of the day it still does what it should and keeps the lashes on your lids. Therefore, the most important thing that differentiate the best and the worst is the packaging of the product.
One thing I love about this packaging is that it comes with a really small lash brush so it wouldn't give you too much glue when you apply it onto your lashes and it would take TOO long to get tacky. Also it is very convenient to just apply it straight to the corners of your lashes when they sort of fall out from time to time, very good for emergency use, the bottle itself is small and very handy to carry around as well.

cleansing express Eye Make up Remover

Around $50

I love using water proof cosmetics and I have to admit that it can be a pain in the ass to take it off, so I personally prefer an oil base eye makeup remover to get off all the mascara and lash glue before cleansing my face. This is why I was such a loyal user of the Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover, it removes water proof mascara without a struggle.

Unfortunately, I ran out of my last bottle and I was desperately for one, and I wasn't able to find one at Sasa or Bonjour (cos it is cheaper) so instead I have decided to just get another one, first to actually have something to take my makeup of for that night and secondly to give another brand a try. I came across this one in Sasa and it was a Japanese brand, since I am very keen on Japanese products and it is way more affordable than the Lancome one, I decided to buy it.

I have to say that though this one is not as good as the Lancome one, it is a very affordable alternative because it is very effective in removing lash glue, for those who know, lash glue is a pain in the ass. So I would definitely recommend it to people who just need a spare eye makeup remover around to use when theirs is out.

Shoes

I can't believe I bought 4 pairs of shoes today, technically it is a secret but since they are so nice, I'll just let everyone know ^^

I got them for quite a decent deal, they were originally priced at $800 but I got them for $300. They are fluffy but they actually look really nice ^^ Though boots are still in for the Spring/ Summer season, I reckon I shall wear it as soon as possible and leave it till next Winter.

How can you not love these? I love how they are so simple. And if you know me, you would know that I am IN LOVE with leather right now; since it is Summer soon, why not invest on a pair of leather sandals?

What else can I say about these? They are cute and comfortable, they are perfect!

These are really cute pumps, I like how the chains just flows at the back and sways when you walk : ) This was apparently specially designed by this company, let me know if you are interested.

New Spring Fragrance

This is my new scent!! Got one on my own and my dad got me the same one so I guess I am stuck with it for quite a while: )

Aquair Deep Moist Hair Treatment Cream

Around $40-60

OMG I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the best product ever!

Due to a lot of dying, perming, bleaching and curling; my hair is dry and coarse, people who know me would know that. The worst thing with dry hair is that it gets tangled easily and it can be really hard to comb through it without getting the comb trap in your hair.

Well the thing is, I was in Mannings the other day and I saw this brand, I had no idea what it was so I have decided to give it a try. So the next day, I tried it out around 3 in the afternoon, though I did find my hair looking a bit more hydrated than usual, there wasn't much difference. It wasn't till at night when I finally found out how amazing this product is.

After I used the product, I went out to shop for a bit and the day was windy, my hair was flying everywhere. And then I went out to dinner and I had it in a bun to get it away from my face. If it were my usual hair, it would have been very tangled by now no matter how smooth it was before I went out the house, but when I tried to comb it when I got home, it only took me 2 strokes to untangle all my hair. IT WAS LIKE A MIRACLE!

This really is a good product cos you can actually see the result after using it once, so I strongly recommend this to people who have damaged hair. : )

MAC Lip Conditioner Hydratant

Around $160

For people who didn't like the previous lip moisturizer, this is another one that I have tried recently and loved.

Unlike the Origins, the formula of this product is way thicker and heavier so it is not too ideal for users in Hong Kong to wear it out daily for it will trap all the dust and dirt that is flying around. So I recommend using this at home or indoors.

I haven't used this product for a very long time, but it definitely does its job. I had it overnight last night and I woke up with no dry lips, especially when my lips are easily dehydrated, this product definitely worth talking about.

I definitely recommend people to use the Origins Lip Remedy in the day and this one at night before you sleep, so you will start the day with smooth hydrated lips and keep it hydrated during the day.

Origins Lip Remedy

Around $100-$150

As I have mentioned before, I have been using this for a very long time. I do believe that I have went through quite a few generations of this, from the one where it looks like a lip gloss with an applicator, and then a tube like one same size as the mini Juicy Tubes by Lancome and then now this version of it.

I personally love this because it really is very hydrating, in the description it calls itself the 'soothing lip saver'. My lips are always dry and dehydrated all the time, even in the summers and it is really hard to actually find one that is hydrating enough and at the same time with a decently low consistency, others that I have tried are way too sticky or heavy to wear during Summer and it is really irritating.

The product itself is very creamy, the consistency is between lotions and hand creams. After applying it, you would feel a hint of cool mint on your lips, but it is not as strong as the Mentholatum ones, it feels like when a soft breeze blows upon your face when you have lip gloss on, it is not long lasting though.

I'd say that there are two flaws to this product, first is that as mentioned the formula has a creamy texture to it, therefore when you use it, it would leave your lips looking whiter than it should be; but then all you have to do is gently pat your lips with your finger and your lips will absorb the product faster and the whiteness will go along with it. Secondly, though it is really hydrating, it doesn't last very long during the day, so you would really need to apply it constantly during the day, maybe 4 -5 times, so for people who would want to just put something on once a day (technically speaking, lip products are generally expected to be applied on more than once a day), you might want to use something that is thicker.

I recommend to use this during the day before any lip products, this product might not be hydrating enough for night time use before you sleep.
